Running often is a good start! Once you know your race distance, training should be geared toward that, including your personal goals; are you after completion, a set time, or a podium spot? There’s significant variation between training for a 10K, half marathon, 50K and 100K or more. All are different, yet equally worthy. See these training plans for more details.
TRAILFECTA is a bundle of Spartan Trail races that you can run throughout the season: a 10k (Day or Night), a Half Marathon and a 50k. Once you cross the finish line of every distance, you'll earn your Trailfecta wedge. Once you cross all the finish lines, you'll complete your Trailfecta and get this amazing memory from that season challenge you took.
The Spartan Trail World Championship is an all-new series of Trail events across the globe. Each Championship will host Trail events (< 49K) and Trail Ultra Championship (50K+) events. The Spartan World Championship is a multi-stop tour for all ability levels, featuring some of trail running’s most prestigious events with the biggest prize purse anywhere for Elites and important awards for Age Groups. Two competition distance categories are available at each Championship stop. Each distance category has its own points leaderboard and prize purse.
